Each student is recognised as an individual with unique talents and skills and it is our role to bring out the best in our students. We value our positive social environment, providing a caring family atmosphere of support, trust, friendship and consideration for each other. Students are encouraged to develop life-long personal values which equip them with the confidence to build and maintain good relationships. We consider physical fitness, high self-esteem and an agile mind as essential components of our balanced education.
We are recognised nationally as a leading School of Enterprise. There is no set uniform at Springbank. Our expectation is that all students will dress neatly, be clean and tidy and take pride in their appearance.
Caps or hats are to be worn outdoors in summer. School T-shirts and polo shirts, or official school tracksuit, must be worn when representing the school for inter-school activities and for sports events. These can be ordered at Reception.
When students represent the school there is a set dress code. (Dark navy or black dress pants/ skirt, formal black shoes, a white shirt, official school tracksuit, school blazer and tie, depending on the occasion).
As a school, we provide a range of extra-curricular opportunities for our students. In addition to what Springbank offers directly, a great benefit of our surrounding area, is that there are many clubs and associations offering a range of opportunities. Given our relatively small population in the wider Far North district, we are fortunate to have, proportionally, a great range of activities available.
Please explore the following document, which contains contact information for each activity/club/association. We endeavour to keep this document as up-to-date as possible. Therefore, if you are aware of any other extra-curricular opportunities available in our wider area, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org so that we may add them to our list.
Springbank School Cafe
Our onsite school cafe offers a great variety of cold and hot food and drinks. The cafe is open Monday to Thursday every week. Notices will be sent out to students & families if the cafe is closed on any of those regular days.
Shanny who operates the cafe, is one of our Springbank School parents. So pop along and grab a hot coffee or lunch from her.
